e-chalupy.cz and Megachalupy

Both portals offer an occupancy calendar in the iCal format, so the connection works like Booking.com or Airbnb: one link lets Norka fetch reservations from the portal, the other lets the portal fetch occupancy from Norka.

1. Copy the calendar link from the portal

e-chalupy.cz

1. Sign in to the administration on e-chalupy.cz.
2. For the property open Obsazenost (the occupancy calendar).
3. Find Export kalendáře (iCal) and copy the link. It ends in .ics.

Megachalupy.cz

1. Sign in to the administration on Megachalupy.cz.
2. In the property's settings open Kalendář obsazenosti and copy the iCal export link.

If you do not see an iCal export for your property, ask the portal's support; most plans can have it switched on. The link is a secret, share it with Norka only.

2. Add the import in Norka

1. In Norka open Estates and pick the estate.
2. In the iCal imports section click Add import.
3. Choose eChalupy or Megachalupy as the Source, paste the link into Calendar URL and optionally give it a Name.
4. Leave Active on and save. Norka checks the calendar every hour.

3. Let the portal fetch the calendar from Norka

1. On the estate page in Norka copy the iCal export URL.
2. In the portal's administration, in the same calendar section, use Import kalendáře z URL and paste the link.

Portals refresh external calendars a few times a day, so a new stay shows up there with a delay.

What happens once connected

• A new reservation from the portal appears in Norka as a stay with the matching source.
• A cancellation on the portal cancels the stay in Norka automatically and records it in the activity log.
• Collisions between two calendars are flagged and you are alerted.

Common questions

The portal does not send the guest's name in the calendar. The stay is named after the source and the name is filled in once the guest completes online check-in, or by hand.

Reservations from the portal arrive by email, not in a calendar. Some plans have no occupancy calendar. Enter the stay by hand with Add reservation and pick the portal as the source, so the analytics stay accurate.
