Estate pricebook
How to set a price per night by season, exceptions for set dates and discounts.
Estate pricebook
Every estate has a base price per night and a cleaning fee. The pricebook adds a price for each season, exceptions for set dates (Christmas, say) and discounts. The cleaning fee stays the same all year.
How a night is priced
Norka prices each night top down and takes the first thing that applies:
- A manual price on the reservation. A price you type into the reservation always wins.
- A fixed-price exception covering that day.
- The estate's season price for the season the day falls in.
- The estate's base price.
Where a discount covers the night, its percentage comes off the result. Where discounts overlap, only the largest applies; they never add up.
Season prices
- Create the seasons in Nastavení › Sezóny (Settings › Seasons). They apply to the whole workspace and repeat every year.
- Open the estate under Objekty (Estates) and go to the Ceník (Pricebook) card.
- Click the pencil on a season and type Cena za noc (Kč) (Price per night). An empty field means the estate's base price.
The strip Cena za noc v příštích 12 měsících (Price per night over the next 12 months) shows what each night will cost, and where an exception or a discount changes it.
Exceptions and discounts
- On the Ceník card click Přidat výjimku (Add exception).
- Choose Pevná cena (Fixed price: replaces the season price, e.g. Christmas) or Sleva (Discount: a percentage off the resulting price).
- Fill in Název (Name), Od (první noc) (From, first night), Do (poslední noc) (To, last night) and the price or the percentage.
- Click Uložit výjimku (Save exception).
An exception has concrete dates, not a month and day like a season: Christmas 2026 and Christmas 2027 are two exceptions. Two fixed prices cannot claim the same night; Norka refuses the save and names the exception that already has it.
What a reservation does with it
- In the Nová rezervace (New reservation) dialog, once an estate and dates are picked, Cena podle ceníku (Price by the pricebook) appears with the nights worked out. The Cena za pobyt (Stay price) field fills itself in. If you type over it, the stay is saved with a ruční cena (manual price); Vrátit cenu z ceníku (Use the pricebook price) throws that away.
- On the reservation detail, the Cena a příjem (Price and income) card shows how the price was worked out. The breakdown stays with the reservation: a later change to the pricebook does not change reservations that already exist.
- Move a pricebook-priced reservation to other dates and its price is worked out again. A manual price stays until you hand it back to the pricebook while editing.
- Reservations pulled in from portals (Booking.com, Airbnb, eChalupy) get no price from the pricebook; they only get the estate's cleaning fee.
The cleaning fee is not part of the pricebook. It is changed in the estate's details and applies to every night, season and exception alike.
